Richemont is the holding company for 18 international luxury brands. The group’s Marketing Services includes the Competitor Intelligence Department, which supports the brands and holding by offering relevant, timely information and key analysis on competitors in the luxury industry. The CI Department is currently developing its intelligence platform, which monitors competitors principally in the high-end watch and jewellery segments, two areas of particular strength for the group. Richemont is currently recruiting a Market Researcher (internship) to integrate this young and dynamic team.
Role :
- Participate in development of a Competitor Intelligence Platform: Integration of tools, organisation of sources
- Assistance in implementation of methodology for collecting, sorting and storing marketplace data (news, product releases and visuals, pricing, ad campaigns, distribution, finance)
- Responsibility for monitoring one defined area (for example, high-end watch brands) anddeveloping an expertise in the domain in order to facilitate speed and effectiveness ofinformation collection for brands
- Conduct in-depth research (internet, phone calls, store visits) both for Ad-Hoc requests from the brands and Group Studies
- Contribute to information dissemination via the production of a bi-weekly industry newsletter and daily upkeep of a dedicated CI intranet site (created for the brands and group)
Profile:
- Strong understanding of intelligence problematic and tools, as well as knowledge management
- Passion for market research, employing proactive and persistent approach
- Familiarity with the functioning of the web
- Capacity to synthesize; detail-oriented and autonomous
- Fluent in English with a good level of French (working language is English)
Student with Convention de Stage
Location: Paris
Duration: Minimum 6 months
Start Date: 1 intern ASAP; 2nd March/April
Wages: €1300 gross/month
